The building is located in the city centre of Joensuu. See map. 

There are no lifts in the building. 

In the courtyard there are 10 parking spaces and one garage for the tenants. See reserving a parking space. The spaces are equipped with electric plug sockets for heating, and the instructions for their use are in the link above. 

For each flat there is a storage for movable goods in the basement, where the storage places for outdoor recreation equipment are also to be found. 

The air-raid shelter is in the basement of the Niskakatu 16 building, entrance C; see the rescue plan (in Finnish pdf-format).

There is a sauna in the basement; see booking a sauna. 

The laundry room is in the basement; see booking a laundry time. The instructions for the booking and use of the laundry room are in the link above. 

The internet connections of the buildings have been implemented by means of the ADSL solution. See Ellinet connection. 

The buildings are connected to a cable television network (Elisa). 

There is a waste collection shed in the courtyard of the Niskakatu 16 building; you are expected to sort your mixed waste, organic waste, and paper and cardboard waste.
