The building is located in Penttilä, east of the city core, near the bank of Pielisjoki River. On the same lot there are the Joensuun Elli housing locations Peltolankatu 5 and Mäntyläntie 3. See map. 

There is a lift in the building. 

There are 80 parking spaces in the courtyard/on the car deck and 36 spaces in the parking garage. See reserving a parking space. The spaces are equipped with electric plug sockets for heating, and the instructions for their use are in the link above. 

For each flat there is a storage for storing movable goods on the ground floor. The storage place for outdoor recreation equipment is in the storehouse.

The saunas are on the ground floor; see booking a sauna. 

The laundry room is on the ground floor; see booking a laundry time. The instructions for the booking and use of the laundry room are in the link above. 

The internet connections of the buildings have been implemented by means of the ADSL solution. See Ellinet connection. 

The buildings are connected to a cable television network (Elisa). 

There are two waste collection sheds in the courtyard; you are expected to sort your mixed waste, organic waste, and paper and cardboard waste.
